Why county by county

ClassCover works best when schools and subs are in the same area.

A booking platform only works when there are enough substitute teachers and SNAs nearby to fill the gaps. That is why Standard opens county by county, once the local network is strong enough for schools to find people in it.

Every school that signs up shows us where demand is strongest. The counties with the most schools on ClassCover are the next to open Standard.

Yes. ClassCover covers both substitute teachers and SNAs. Sub Seeker covers Teaching Council registered teachers only.
ClassCover doesn't carry out vetting, and it doesn't change who's responsible for it. Schools vet their SNAs and substitute teachers exactly as they do now, through their own vetting bodies. What ClassCover gives you is a list you curate and keep growing. You build it with the SNAs and subs you trust. A new person sits on a holding list until you confirm in the app that you've vetted them, and then they're yours to book. The difference is reach. Instead of one or two vetted SNAs you can call, you can connect with many more in your area, keep several moving through vetting at once, and build a list that gets deeper over time. ClassCover gives you the tools to manage that list and the connections to grow it.
No. ClassCover is a separate platform, purpose-built as a mobile booking app for substitute cover. It is not affiliated with EducationPosts.ie.
ClassCover starts with your existing list. You upload your trusted contacts and book them through the app. The platform makes your current process faster and adds a fallback when your regulars aren't available.
