How ClassCover works with ETBs
The approved list is out of date before it arrives.
Head office sends the approved list out as a spreadsheet. By the time it lands, many of the subs on it have already taken contracts.
Vetting takes time, and the best subs find other work before they clear. So schools book whoever they can, then hand the sub the paperwork and send them off to the ETB to be vetted.

A sub applies to your ETB in the ClassCover app, or a school invites a sub it wants to use. The sub answers your ETB's questions.

Every application lands in head office's own view, sorted by status. Head office runs its checks, then approves the sub or sends it back with a note.

Two ways to handle subs who aren't approved yet
When a school needs more cover, it can search ClassCover for subs and SNAs nearby that it doesn't know yet. Your ETB chooses who shows up in that search.
In both options, nobody can be booked until head office approves them.
